Yesterday was finally my day off so I decided to visit the Lake District for the first time after my friends’ numerous encouragements. The biggest downside is the lack of paths around the Windermere lake and constant weather changes, but a boat cruise from Brockhole through Ambleside to Bowness was the highlight of my trip. I will definitely return around May to hopefully catch a warm sunny day, but it was great to finally see place for myself.
Really lovely photography! Thank you for sharing these 🙂
Thank you so much and my pleasure 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Oh that second shot is fantastic.
Thank you 🙂 Have a lovely weekend!
You too.
Beautiful. Makes me feel like thats where I want to be.
Thank you and it’s such a peaceful place I miss it already 🙂 Enjoy the weekend!
Wow! Those pictures are extraordinary. I loved the clouds and the water. It feels so cool and fresh. Great work Trish, as usual. Can you share with us the lens that you used to take these shots?
Thank you for sharing,
Omar.-
Thank you so much Omar and I had a feeling you would ask me about the lens, I used the Tokina 11-16 as usual, it’s my number one when shooting landscapes now. I used the Hoya polarising filter too. Have a lovely weekend 🙂
I’m always learning to take pictures from you. I remember that you wrote about buying this lens several months ago. I remember the Hoya polarizing too. Following your blog I bought one too to attach to my Canon EF f/1.8 II prime lens. Both work well.
So much to learn. So little time.
Enjoy the rest of the day. 🙂
Omar.-
Nice work 😉
Thank you, have a great weekend 🙂
Great shots. The second is my favorite. It has a wide angle lens feel that just appeals to me.
Thank you, I took that shot moments before setting off home so it was a lucky capture. Have a lovely weekend! 🙂
So many of my best shots are the lucky ones. And a good weekend to you also. Cheers
