A 5 hour drive from Cancun led us to Bacalar, a truly magical hidden gem. With extremely strong heat, we decided to take a boat tour around the lagoon, where we witnessed colour-changing waters. The final stop unravels a clear-blue bay with white sand and sunshine, which to me was absolute paradise.
