Wawel castle: dragon hunt

In March I visited Krakow on a beautiful sunny day. After living in Germany, I immediately succumb to seeking pretzel stands in any European country, it’s fair to say Polish ‘obwarzanki’ are a perfect snack for any time of the day. And yes, they are even better after being squished in a carry on bag for 5 hours.

The Wawel castle is a lot like Pražský hrad in Prague, with the allure of potential dragons joining you for the day. Even though it is considered  a myth, I like to think the dragon was real and he is still roaming under the city, cursing the lamb dish for being so spicy.
